Maximum Capacity explores the architecture of memory through anatomical vessels and collected moments, transforming childhood ephemera into sacred spaces. Inspired by Y2K aesthetics and horror manga, the collection features three designs that blur the lines between body and home, trauma and comfort, chaos and sanctuary. A Junji Ito-inspired anatomical heart cradles a mid-flight skater; a Lisa Frank-meets-Polly Pocket brain houses a technicolor bedroom-turned-skatepark; and a CMYK botanical study reconstructs flowers from skate wheels and bearings. Shot against a life-sized dollhouse set that embraces rather than escapes themes of hoarding and maximalism, the collection examines how we carry our histories within us, and how spaces – both physical and emotional – can simultaneously protect and preserve us.
