About the Cause

The Skate Fast Eat Trash shirt is back for preorder! This time to support The Trans Agenda, a banked track roller derby team competing at Roller Rage in Arizona, January 17-19th. 100% of profits will go towards the cost of their competition.

This shirt was designed by Nightmaren, a skater with the Trans Agenda. The team also features GNDR SHREDR team member Bumble Beast (Afton Brooks) and is coached by Queer Skate Alliance/Radical Wheels' dad, Olive.

About the Design

In Maren's words:

"Skate Fast, Eat Trash. It’s a motto that really encapsulates my transition mindset. Plus possums are cute and amazing and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Last summer before my first roller derby bout we had a possum at our track and it became our unofficial team mascot. GNDR SHREDR printed up our team shirts and this nifty design. The first batch was a gift to my Black Dollias teammates for making it such an amazing experience. Since then, I’ve gotten to skate with the LA Derby Dolls home teams, Tilted Thunder in Seattle, and The Trans Agenda at Roller Rage. Just a stellar procession of teammates and an amazing derby community.

I smile every time a friend wears it, or they tell me it’s their favorite shirt, or someone asks how they can get one. Hope y’all get as much joy out of it as I do and I appreciate all the support."

The shirts are available in black with white ink, or black with trans flag colorway, as well as new white with black ink option. Hand screen printed on American Apparel Tri-Blend Unisex Sports T-shirt, for a breathable blend that won't get bogged down with sweat for max performance.
